A seminar on religious, social & cultural perspective of Forced Marriages

Minhaj Reconciliation Council and Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League co-hosted a seminar on the issue of forced marriages in the social, cultural and religious contexts in its central secretariat in Lahore on May 6, 2010. The chief guest on the occasion, Robert Kvile, Norwegian ambassador to Pakistan, said that Norway enjoys very cordial relations with Minhaj-ul-Quran International and we are working together for the resolution of issues faced by the civil society and people at large.

Mawlid-un-Nabi (S.W.A) - Greater Glasgow

All the programmes commenced with the beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran by Sister Asifa who also translated the Sura, so that the audience did not only enjoy the recitation but understand the beautiful meanings of Divine words revealed upon the Holy Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him) by Allah (SWT).

Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri achieves another milestone

Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, president of Federal Council and member of Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, has been reelected unopposed to the position of Post-Graduate Student Representative and a member of Board of Studies (Syndicate of the University) for year 2010-11. This would be the second continuous stint of Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri in this position. He got elected to this position last year.

MQI & PAT jointly hold National Conference against load-shedding, dearness and corruption

The First Secretary, Embassy of Germany visits Minhaj University Lahore

The First Secretary, Head of Cultural Section, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, Islamabad, Katharina Lack paid a visit to Minhaj University, Lahore. The visit lasted for about three hours. Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) Peace Walk 2010 Denmark

The long anticipated time of Mawlid un Nabi (blessings and peace be upon him) has finally come. To mark and celebrate the coming of the beautiful month of Rabi ul Awwal, a Peace Walk was organised to demonstrate the peaceful message of Islam. This was held on the 14th February 2010, by Minhaj-ul-Quran International Denmark, with participation and cooperation from several other mosques and Islamic organisations including Muslim Cultural Institute (vesterbro), Islamisk Kultucenter (Amager), Dansk Pakistansk Kulturforening (Ishøj) and Islam Forum Tåstrup.

Historical Launching of Fatwa Against Terrorism
