Mawlid-un-Nabi Arrival Dinner

Minhaj-ul-Quran International organized a special dinner on arrival of Mawlid-un-Nabi on 22nd of February 2009. Program started with the recitation of Holy Quran followed by Naat. Director MQI London Allama Sadiq Qureshi and Hafiz Zeeshan performed stage secretary responsibilities.

Agha Murtaza Poya visited MQI London

Senior Vice President of Pakistan Awami Tehreek Agha Murtaza Poya visited MQI London office on 31st of January 2009. During the visit he addressed the people in Gosha-e-Durood program. In his speech he highlighted the importance of Durood and said that we celebrated the Mawlid-un-nabi from the core of our hearts.

Dars-e Irfan-ul-Quran organized by MQI Northampton, UK

Minhaj-ul-Quran Internation arranged 'Dars-e Irfan-ul-Quran' with the permission of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Thahir-ul-Qadri in the city of Northampton, UK. The Dars is delivered by a young Bangladeshi scholar Mohammed Shaiful Azam who has received his education from Al-Azhar University, Cairo and International Islamic University Malaysia. He has recently received his postgraduate degree from Southborough University UK.

MQI London organizes reception in the honour of the pilgrims

Minhaj-ul-Quran International (London chapter) organized a reception in the honour of the pilgrims in the Islamic Centre London. The proceedings of the reception started with the recitation from the Holy Quran followed by Naat. The guests expressed their feelings at the occasion.

MQI Manchester holds protest demo against Israel

Minhaj-ul-Quran International (Manchester chapter) took out protest demonstration against the Israeli atrocities perpetrated on the innocent Palestinians on January 14, 2009. Principal of Farghana Institute and scholar Allama Muhammad Ramzan Qadri, president Muslim League Britain Zaigham Khan, Ms Ateequllah Butt, Ms Ramzan Qadri, and Secretary General Women League Ms Hafiza Naheed Shahid from Halifax led the demonstration.

New Year Dhikr 2009

The Muslim Youth League UK (MYL UK) organised the ‘New Year Dhikr 09’ which took place at the Minhaj ul Quran International mosque in London. The event which took place at the eve of the New Year was focused around the remembrance of the Lord Almighty. The gathering was attended by more than 500 people consisting mostly of youth.

The Messiah, In light of World Scriptures (An interfaith Event)

This event included various members from different religions in a unique multi faith event in the company of Shaykh Ramadan al-Qadri, titled “The Messiah, in the light of world scriptures.”

This lecture is from the one day symposium that recently took place at Sheridan Suite, Manchester. Community Iftar 2008 - London

As in previous years, Minhaj-ul-Qur’an International London became the location of a community iftar dinner with over 300 participants attending the feast to end their fasts daily throughout the spiritual month of Ramadan. The centre is frequented by a multitude of other faith leaders who through the month share the experience of Ramadan by joining fellow Muslims during the iftar meal. Caretaker Daar (below) helped prepare a wonderful meal for the gathered with Haji Muzaffar.

Mayor of London visits Minhaj-ul-Quran Mosque

MAYOR OF LONDON Boris Johnson visited the Minhaj-ul-Quran International centre on Romford Road in London on Sunday 19th October 2008. This is the first visit the Mayor of London has made to a Muslim place of worship since his appointment to office. Mr Johnson said: “I am delighted to visit a mosque, a Muslim institution and place of worship”.

Supreme Leader attends `Eid al-Fitr Dinner

The dinner was held to mark the end of the sacred Islamic month of fasting and to celebrate the feast of al-Fitr. The event also attended by: Mufti al-Asr al-Shaykh Mujahid al-Chawdary of Bangladesh, Imam Muhammad Sadiq al-Qurayshi of Minhaj al-Quran centre in Newham, al-Haj Sufi Muhammad Aslam of Upton Park, Ishtiaq Ahmad president of Minhaj al-Quran centre in Newham and al-Shaykh Abu Adam al-Shirraz al-Elahi of Leicester.

Laylatul-Qadr at MQI Glasgow

On 26th September Laylat-ul-Qadr (Night of Power) was commemorated at the MQI Glasgow under the guidance of Allama Shahid Baber. It was the first time the Tarawih Prayer was lead in the MQI Glasgow and the complete Qur'an was recited by Hafiz Muhammad Siddiqi in his unique voice. Hafiz Muhammad Siddiqi was gifted some selected books of Hazoor Sayyadi Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri for his great effort by the Al-Haaj Abdul Wahid Raza Sahib (President of Minhaj ul Qur’an International (Glasgow)).
