All set for 34th Tajdar e Khatm-e-Nubuwwat ﷺ Conference at Minar-e-Pakistan

Tajdar e Khatm-e-Nubuwwat ﷺ Conference will take place tonight on the sprawling lawns of historic Minar-e-Pakistan to mark the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will deliver his keynote address on the occasion. The Conference, which has acquired the status of an international mega event, will be attended by hundreds of thousands of the faithful from across the country. The message to be put across to the wider world is that love of the beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is the pivot of believers’ faith and nothing is greater than this valued treasure. The grandson of iconic anti-apartheid leader Nelson Mandela will be the guest of honour along with his family members.

The permission has been sought from the district administration of Lahore for the organized conduct of the Conference where cleanliness as well as prestige of the historic place will be fully guarded. The passionate association with the belief in the finality of the prophethood is a basic requirement of the believer’s faith and a foundation of the teachings of Islam. 70 administrative committees were set up to make arrangements for the mega event and the preparations have been completed.

Secretary General MQI Khurram Nawaz Gandapur expressed these views while addressing the press conference at the Minar-e-Pakistan along with the central, provincial, district leaders of MQI and the heads of the administrative committees. Brig. (r ) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Jawad Hamid, Noorullah Saddiqi, Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Naeem-ud-Din Ch Advocate and others were also present on the occasion.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that separate seating arrangements have been made for male and female participations. He said that renowned religious scholars, Mashaykh, leaders of different religious and political parties and notables will attend the Conference. He said that huge LED screens have been installed to enable the people to watch the proceedings. He said that the youths belonging to MYL, MSM and MWL will perform the security duties inside as well as outside the venue of the event. He said that Durood, greetings and salutations recited at Gosha-e-Durood located at MQI Secretariat will be presented in the court of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said that celebrating the birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is requirement of our faith, adding that MQI has been playing a central role in spreading the love of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in the world.

Jawad Hamid, Secretary of the administrative committee, assured the journalists that natural beauty and prestige of the Minar-e-Pakistan laws will be kept intact and no harm will be done. He said that the workers of MQI are mature and responsible in their thinking and conduct and they will take extra care to guard the sanctity of the place. He said that out of 33 editions of Milad Conference held so far, 31 were organized at the Minar-e-Pakistan and no complaint was ever made.
