Addressing a question-answer session in the context of extremism in South Asia as part of two-day Think-Fest Conference in Lahore, President of the MQI, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, has said that trends of violent sectarianism, division, and hatred took root after the British compulsorily imposed their educational system in 1857. Consequently, the Muslims were pushed against the wall.
Addressing Women Convention on the occasion of the MWL’s 30th foundation day, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the women did not get their rightful place in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. He said that those who did not give proper attention to women’s education and empowerment during their governments are the criminals of the nation.
MQI Lahore arranged a medical camp in PP 149 area where the team of qualified doctors checked hundreds of patients, conducted their medical tests and based on their diagnosis, prescribed them medicines. Talking on the occasion, Engineer Sanaullah Khan said that MQI Lahore started the mobile medical camp under the instructions of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
Minhaj Publications India took part in annual World Book Fair held in New Delhi and displayed the books written by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri including the Quranic Encyclopedia. The visitors to the MQI stalls took a keen interest in the Encyclopedia. They were informed that it consists of 8 volumes and contains 5000 topics. It is the outcome of Dr Qadri’s study of the Holy Quran spread of the last 50 years.
