World Youth Skills Day Message Dr Hussain Mohi ud Din Qadri 2026

On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day, President of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Deputy Chairman of the Board of Governors of Minhaj University Lahore, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, said in his message that the true progress of any nation depends less on its natural resources and more on the knowledge, character, skills, research, creativity, and moral values of its youth.

He said that the modern era is defined by knowledge, skills, and innovation, with the world rapidly transitioning towards a knowledge-based economy, where a nation's advancement is measured not merely by academic degrees but by expertise, innovation, research, and practical competence.

Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri stated that Pakistan's youth possess immense potential. The need of the hour, he said, is to provide them with quality education alongside modern skills, digital technologies, and practical training opportunities so that they can compete effectively and play a meaningful role at the global level.

He emphasized that young people should not regard a university degree as the ultimate destination of success but rather as the beginning of a lifelong journey of learning and skill development. He urged them to complement their academic qualifications with practical expertise, research aptitude, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving abilities, artificial intelligence (AI), digital technology, effective communication skills, and professional ethics.

He further stated that the youth are the most valuable asset of any society. If they are equipped with education, research capabilities, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurial skills in line with the demands of the modern age, they can not only achieve personal success but also play a pivotal role in national development and economic prosperity.
