In a world increasingly focused on temporary material gains, Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Al-madani Al-qadri delivers a profound and timeless prophetic reminder about the true essence of serving the Deen. The act of inviting others towards the path of Allah and the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) is not merely a communal duty but a gateway to unparalleled spiritual wealth. This blog explores why we must prioritize serving Islam, the immense value placed on guiding even a single soul, and the luminous rewards that await those who commit themselves to this noble cause.

Greater Than Worldly Delicacies:

The value of guiding another person to the right path is beyond any material measure. The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) emphasized this by stating that:

فَوَاللَّهِ، لَأَنْ يَهْدِيَ اللَّهُ بِكَ رَجُلًا خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنْ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَكَ حُمْرُ النَّعَمِ.

“By Allah, if Allah guides even one person through you, it is better than possessing red camels” (Bukhari, al-sahih, Vol:3, p, 1096, Hadith: 2847)

Red camels which were the most expensive and rare delicacies among the Arabs of that time. Today, these would be equivalent to the most luxurious or high-end delicacies. This teaching reminds us that the spiritual success of another human being, facilitated by our efforts, holds more weight in the court of Allah than all the riches of this world combined.

The Divine “Pyramid Scheme”:

One of the most inspiring concepts shared is the idea of a “genuine pyramid scheme” within the Deen. Unlike fraudulent worldly schemes, this spiritual model ensures that when you inspire someone to do good, whether it is praying, giving charity, or being more faithful, you receive a share of the reward for every righteous deed they perform. This chain reaction continues as they inspire others, allowing rewards to accumulate in your “spiritual bank account” even after you have passed away. It is a system of continuous benefit where your contribution, no matter how small, yields infinite returns.

Service Without Excuses:

A common misconception is that one must reach a state of perfect piety or deep scholarship before they can serve the Deen. Shaykh Hammad Mustafa Al-madani clarifies that there is no excuse for not serving; Dawah can be performed anywhere at home, at work, at school, or in any moment of interaction. You do not need a community center or a formal institution to start. By waiting decades to “perfect” yourself, you miss out on the opportunity to let the service of the Deen itself become a means of your purification and salvation.

Radiant Faces on the Day of Judgment:

The ultimate reward for those who transmit the message of Islam is a unique distinction on the Day of Judgment. While many faces will be blackened by the weight of sin and disobedience, the faces of those who served and transmitted the Deen will be brightened by a divine light. The Holy Prophet ﷺ said:

نَضَّرَ اللَّهُ امْرَأً سَمِعَ مِنَّا حَدِيثًا فَحَفِظَهُ حَتَّى يُبَلِّغَهُ.

“May Allah brighten a man who hears a tradition from us, gets it by heart and passes it on to others.” (Abu Dawud, al-sunan, Vol: 3, P: 322, Hadith: 3660)

This “Noor” is a glad tiding for anyone who preserves a Hadith or a verse of the Quran and conveys it to others. They will stand refreshed, joyous, and alive, recognized by the light reflecting their commitment to the prophetic mission.

Conclusion:

Serving the Deen is an investment that never fails. It is a journey that transforms not only the lives of those we reach but also our own spiritual destiny. On the Day of Judgment, many will be surprised by the mountain of rewards they find in their accounts, rewards earned not just by their own hands, but by the hands of those they inspired. By dedicating ourselves to Dawah and the service of Islam today, we secure a future filled with light, joy, and the eternal pleasure of Allah and His Messenger (peace be upon him).
