

Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League organized an organizational camp for the workers
on June 28, 2012. The proceedings of the first day got underway with the recitation
from the Holy Quran followed by Naat. Ms Sajida Sadiq elaborated upon the aims and
objectives of the camp.

In the first lecture of the camp, Ms Noshaba Zia, central leader of MWL, threw
light on the topic of ‘expansion of organizational network’. Ms Sajida Sadiq delivered
his talk on ways and means to extend the organizational structure to union council
and unit levels. She discussed a working plan in this respect.
Ms Gulshan Irshad, central Secretary Training and Ms Afnan Baber, deputy Secretary
Training, were the next speakers who, with the help of multimedia, highlighted the
salient features of the training module and apprised the participants of the camp
about the activities of their directorate.

Ms Naila Jafar held forth in detail on the subject of Dawa. Ms Shakira Chaudhry
were the last speaker of the camp who employed multimedia and threw light on aims
and objectives of MSM Sisters, Working Plan, organizational and administrative responsibilities
and other related activities.
The second session of the first day started with a beautiful and thought-provoking
talk of Ms Sajida Sajid on the topic of objective of obtaining membership of MQI.
Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz also delivered a special lecture to the participants of the
camp in which he dilated upon various phases of MQI. He advised the attendees to
strengthen their relationship with the ideology, vision and personality of Shaykh-ul-Islam
Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.


The proceedings of the second day got underway with the Quranic recitation followed
by Naat in the honour of the Holy Prophet (SAW). Ahmad Nawaz Anjum, Amir of MQI
Punjab, gave a special briefing on the arrival of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri
and status of preparations to give him historic welcome upon his arrival in Pakistan.
A special reception was arranged in the honour of Sahibzada Hussain Mohi-ud-Din
Qadri on his arrival at the central secretariat. The participants of the camp attended
the reception and gave Hussain Bahi a red carpet welcome amid applause and slogans.

Talking about the aspect of training, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that
the purpose for which MQI was endeavouring was the establishment of a peaceful,
inclusive and multicultural society where rights of followers of all faiths should
be protected. He cited the Quranic verse to support his argument about the lofty
ideals of MQI. He also explained with the help of the verses from the Holy Quran
that people belonging to different walks of life could win Allah’s pleasure. The
concluding remarks were delivered by Sahibzada Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani.
The participants of the camp also had a special meeting with senior Deputy Secretary
General Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz, Ms Rafia Ali Qadri, and Ms Ayesha Shabbir in which
motivational talk was delivered about extending historic welcome to Shaykh-ul-Islam.

Speaking on the occasion, Ms Rafia Ali Qadri advised the participants to establish
a bond of love with the thought and personality of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri
and act upon the principles enunciated by him. Ms Ayesha Shabbir asked the workers
to continue to work hard so that befitting welcome could be given to the leader
of MQI upon his arrival. Sheikh Zahid Fayyaz paid a glowing tribute to the inspiring
leadership of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, adding that the organization founded by
him had now become a global organization engaged in a struggle for peace, interfaith
dialogue and harmony in the world. He advised the participants to convey MQI’s message
to a maximum number of people through their relentless campaign.

Ms Fiza Hussain Qadri, daughter in law of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri
was the chief guest on the third and last day of the camp. Her presence in the camp
was inspiring for the participants. Talking to the participants, Ms Fiza Hussain
Qadri said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri took a very difficult
responsibility upon his shoulder i.e. the responsibility of promoting peace, interfaith
dialogue and harmony in the world as well as projecting the true and real face of
Islam. He said that the caravan led by him now consisted of millions of people who
were marching on as the peace campaigners. She said that it was important that we
propagated the message of Shaykh-ul-Islam to the world with sincerity of purpose
and utmost dedication. She said that the workers should start working hard to give
a befitting reception to their leader upon his arrival in the country.

Appreciation certificates were distributed among the high performing organizations.
Ms Sajida Sadiq concluded the camp by giving a brief talk. It ended on Dua made
by Ms Afnan Baber.
