MQI condemns barbaric bomb blast in Karachi
Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) formally condemned the bomb blast at a Mawlid conference in Nashter Park, Karachi, immediately after the incident at a Mawlid Dinner which was attended by Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and internationally renowned scholars who had come to Pakistan to attend the annual International Mawlid conference. A unanimous declaration was made on be half of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI) and the honourable guests.
The declaration termed the bomb blast as a clear sign of the failure of the government to provide security to its citizens. The glorious occasion such as the Mawlid of the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW was allowed to be turned into a blood bath.
Shaykh-ul-Islam Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed his deep anger and sorrow regarding the blast and said that the government has a responsibility of ensuring that such events are not subject to any terrorist incident. The government has failed in this responsibility. He demanded the government to immediately bring to justice those who are actually behind this attack.
Shaykh-ul-Islam has expressed his condolences to the relatives of those who were martyred and prayed for them. He said the loss of so many scholars of Islam in this way was an irreparable loss and very damaging. Shaykh-ul-Islam has said that he was unable to attend the funerals of the scholars who were martyred due to his health.
Exclusive prayers were made for the martyrs of the bomb blast.
