MQI (Faisalabad chapter) organized Ambassador of Peace Seminar on February 25 in connection with 65th birth anniversary of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. Addressing the Seminar, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Pakistan military launched Operation Zarb-e-Azb to eliminate terrorism, whereas Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri started peace and knowledge initiatives to complement the anti-terrorism campaign.
Addressing the participants of the public fair, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that corrupt, obsolete and elitist political system of Pakistan is reeling under its own burden and the day is not far when the whole edifice will come crumbling down. He asked the people to support Dr Qadri to give a last push to the crumbling walls. He said that Dr Qadri is coming to Pakistan in the month of March and he would resume his struggle from the same point where he left it a few months ago before leaving for the US for his treatment. He said that revolutionary struggle will continue till smiles on the faces of the poor are not restored and this anti-people system is not sent home.
A simple but elegant mass marriage ceremony in which 25 couples tied the knot was held under banner of Minhaj Foundation Faisalabad on December 4, 2016. Every bride was gifted with household items of worth Rs. 1.5 lacs that included copy of the Holy Quran, prayer mat, cupboard, Almirah, double bed, chairs and table, washing machine, fan, water set, tea set etc. 1000 guests were served delicious food.
PAT Faisalabad chapter took out a rally to protest the non-provision of justice in the Model Town case. The rally, which was attended by workers of PAT, religious and political parties and the members of civil society organizations, was organized as part of the Qisas movement. The demonstrators chanted slogans demanding justice. They were holding banners and placards. The PAT leaders addressed the rally and vowed to continue the struggle till the ends of justice are served.
