Books of Shaykh-ul-Islam launched in Bangladesh
A launching ceremony of the recently published four books of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was held in Dhaka, Bangladesh. These books are Irfan-ul-Quran (Translation of the Holy Quran in English and Bangla languages), and A Real Sketch of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in both English and Bangla languages.
Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, who was chief guest on the occasion, explained the mutual relationship between the Holy Quran and the Holy Prophet (pbuh). He said that if the Muslim world wants to get rid of the problems it is facing and seeks to achieve success, it will have to hold on to the teachings of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) fast. He said that our relationship with the Prophet of Islam (pbuh) should not only be emotional and in terms of our ‘Iman’ but also practical in terms of him being a source of guidance. He made it clear that without following the Prophet (pbuh) in the footprints in every walk of life, peace, contentment and success cannot be attained. He said that without studying the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet (pbuh), no Muslim can do justice to his being a Muslim. He said that Allah Almighty made the Holy Prophet (pbuh) role model for mankind, adding that without following him (pbuh), we would continue to grope in the dark. He narrated a few examples from the life of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) and won the hearts of the audience.
