Minhaj University Lahore listed in the World Green Ranking report
Minhaj University Lahore has added yet another feat to its tally of achievements through its inclusion in the World Green Rankings released by GreenMetric, Indonesia. Deputy Chairman, BoG, MUL, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has congratulated VC Dr Sajid Mahmood Shahzad, Registrar, Heads of Departments, Deans, Director QEC and the concerned faculty members on the wonderful achievement.
In his message of greetings, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri expressed the hope that the University administration and teachers will continue to work with the same passion and fervor in the future as well. He said that MUL will increase its national and international profile due to the commitment and hard work of the administration, teachers and students.
Deputy Chairman, BoG, said that international GreenMetric conducted a survey of the universities from across the 84 countries and issued a world Green Rankings report based on this survey. He said that Rankings listed MUL at 731st position internationally and 35th position nationally, which is highly encouraging and proof of the fact that the University continues to maintain its academic excellence as well as its commitment to a student-friendly environment.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that MUL was included in the rankings owing to its excellent performance in the areas of energy and climate change, transportation, quality infrastructure, education and research, waste and water management, education-friendly environment, and climate change efforts. He said that it is not just the honour of MUL but that of Pakistan as well. He said that we are determined more than ever before to work even harder in the field of education and research. He further said that MUL is achieving milestones in terms of research and quality education in the light of the educational vision of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri.
