Ghazwa-e-Badr was a decisive battle between the truth & falsehood: Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri

Ghazwa-e-Badr laid the foundation for peace and security for humanity. It was a decisive battle between the forces of falsehood and truth. Arrogance lost and faith won. The message of Ghazwa-e-Badr is that the guarantee of success lies in the obedience of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and Allah's help and support is only for those people who are on the right path.

These views were expressed by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri in connection with the epoch of Ghazwa-e-Badr on the 17th of Ramadan. He said that the companions were full of passion and a sense of sacrifice for the cause of Islam. He said that the banner of the truth has been held up high till the Day of Judgment, whereas the forces of falsehood met their eternal end.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Ghazwa-e-Badr was a defining moment in the history of Islam. The Guzva led to the stability and strength of the State of Madina. Muslims got an upper edge psychologically and took steps to protect the cultural unity of the State. The Battle of Badr, he said, gave many distinct advantages to Muslims economically, militarily and politically. He said that Ghazwa-e-Badr was the day of the success of the faithful.
