Shaykh-ul-Islam’s birthday celebrated in Canada

A special ceremony was arranged under the banner of MQI Canada in connection with the 72nd birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. The event was attended by Shaykh-ul-Islam himself, Sahibzada Shaykh Hammad Mustafa al-Madani al-Qadri, and Sahibzada Shaykh Ahmad Mustafa Al-Arabi al-Qadri.

The proceedings of the event got underway with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Shafique Ahmad Naeemi. Mohsin Shaukat Ali, the son of Ustad Shaukat Ali, and his companions presented the Naatia kalam.

Those present on the occasion included Khawaja Kamran Rashid, Chaudhry Javed Gujjar, Ali Shan, Dr. Ehsanullah, Barrister Muhammad Iqbal Kachi, Arshad Bhatti, Sufi Muhammad Tariq, Faheem Anwar Randhawa, Chaudhry Badar Munir, Chaudhry Arshad, Zafar Arshad, Allama Ahmad Awan, Husnain Hameed, Sheikh Abdullah Raja, Allama Sohail Siddiqui, Shazia Shafique, the office-holders of MQI Canada, and the people belonging to the Pakistani diaspora community.
