Shaykh-ul-Islam greets Muslims on advent of Rabi-ul-Awwal
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has congratulated Muslims around the world on the advent of the holy month of Rabi-ul-Awwal. In a special message on the start of the holy month, he said that Rabi-ul-Awwal is the blessed month in which the Holy Prophet (PBUH) was born. Thanks to his blessed birth, humanity was rid of the scourges of ignorance and slavery and blessed with light of knowledge, human rights and peace. He said every aspect of the Prophet’s (PBUH) life is a beacon of light for humanity in general and Muslims in particular till the Day of Judgment. He asked the faithful to ensure reading about ‘Seerah’ as part and parcel of their day-to-day life. He said that the world can achieve sustainable peace and tranquility by acting upon his (PBUH) teachings. He said that the people should make most of the holy month in an effort to reorient and reshape their lives for the better.
