The Miraj is the pinnacle of the miracles of the Holy Prophet (PBUH): Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

The founding leader and patron-in-chief of MQI, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, stated in his address on the blessed occasion of Shab-e-Miraj that the event of Miraj marks the beginning of the culmination of the miracles of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the conquest of the universe.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Almighty Allah bestowed miracles upon His prophets to promote and propagate the cause of truth and monotheism, and the denial of miracles is a denial of the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah. He said that nothing remained hidden in the realm of the unseen on the night of Miraj. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) witnessed the manifestations of truth and the essence of existence during the night.

Shaykh-ul-Islam said that during the journey of Miraj, the Holy Prophet (peace be upon him) was granted the knowledge of events that would occur until the Day of Judgment. He (PBUH) beheld the magnificence and beauty of Allah Almighty and witnessed the vastness of the heavens and the unseen. The events that were indicated to occur until the Day of Judgment were not imaginations or conjectures but were the absolute truth and observations, which the Holy Prophet (PBUH) gradually expressed until the last moment of life.

Dr Qadri stated that Allah Almighty has instructed in the Holy Quran to obey Allah and His Messenger (PBUH) because Allah Almighty bestowed upon the last Prophet (peace be upon him) all knowledge and wisdom. What the beloved Prophet (PBUH) said was true; Allah Almighty had enlightened him (PBUH) about the realities of paradise, hell, and the questions and accountings of the grave and resurrection. He (PBUH) was granted complete understanding of the virtues and truth of monotheism and prophethood on the night of Miraj.
