Khurram Nawaz Gandapur attends a mass marriage ceremony
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, the Secretary-General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, made a special appearance at a mass wedding ceremony organized by the Minhaj Welfare Foundation. In his address on the occasion, he stated that our religion teaches us to share in the suffering of the needy, poor, and financially weak, and commands us to help them.
Minhaj-ul-Quran International, he said, has always adhered to the concept of human fraternity exemplified by the brotherhood of Medina. He mentioned that organizing mass weddings for the daughters of deserving, low-income, poor, and needy families is a distinctive feature of Minhaj-ul-Quran.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that the Minhaj Welfare Foundation is actively engaged in education, health, and public welfare. He said that serving humanity is the best form of worship, and Minhaj-ul-Quran, under the guidance of its founder and patron-in-chief Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, is tirelessly working day and night for the service of humanity.
The ceremony held in Rawalpindi was attended by Deputy Secretary-General Engineer Muhammad Rafiq Najam, country head of Minhaj Welfare Foundation Brigadier (R) Umar Hayat, organizational head Ishtiaq Hanif Mughal, along with central, zonal, and district leaders. Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, along with other distinguished guests, distributed gifts among the couples who were married.
