Islam is a manifestation of the best of morality: Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, the founder and patron-in-chief of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, while speaking at a special session with Islamic scholars, representatives of civil society, and organizational officials of Minhaj-ul-Quran in Sydney, said that Islam embodies the highest moral standards, and those who narrate the Seerah (biography) of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) should also reflect these values in their character.
He emphasized that striving for the economic uplift of poor relatives is an act of worship. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) always treated his relatives and the needy with kindness. After the migration to Medina, the example of brotherhood and solidarity that was established is unparalleled in history. The Ansar of Medina became a model of support and economic rehabilitation for the migrants upon the Prophet's (PBUH) encouragement, he said.
Shaykh-ul-Islam further stated that parents, teachers, the media, and scholars should play their advisory role in highlighting moral virtues and train children in their early years so that they become conscious and beneficial members of society. Contributing to someone's economic rehabilitation or providing services for someone's good upbringing is an ongoing charity. He mentioned that the Holy Prophet (PBUH) would distribute the spoils of war equally, intending to provide economic stability to every individual and class in society. Societies are strengthened by mutual respect, loyalty, and fidelity, he maintained.
