Ignorance is the source of all problems: Mazhar Alvi
25,000 centers of learning being set up to eradicate ignorance from society
Deputy Nazim-e-Aala of Minhaj-ul-Quran Sindh, Mazhar Mahmood Alvi, stated that ignorance is the root cause of all societal problems, and the solution to these issues lies solely in knowledge and the establishment of centers of learning. He emphasized that ignorance is the biggest obstacle to the progress of nations. Unfortunately, in our society, ignorance is often mistaken solely for illiteracy. However, ignorance is not just illiteracy but also deviation from the right path, going astray, and then considering oneself right and others wrong, which is the true form of ignorance.
In line with the vision of the founder and patron of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, efforts are ongoing to establish 25,000 centers of learning to eradicate ignorance from society and to educate and raise awareness in the community.
Mazhar Alvi expressed these views while addressing an online meeting with office bearers and officials from Dherki, Ghotki, Mirpur Mathelo, Sukkur, Ranipur, Sultan Kot, Jacobabad, Miro Khan, Larkana, Shikarpur, Mehr, Dadu, Bhan Syedabad, Sehwan Sharif, Thana Bola Khan, Jamshoro City, Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Shahdadpur, Tando Adam, Moro, Matli, Tando Muhammad Khan, Digri, Chhachhro, Islamkot, Nagarparkar, and other areas.
The meeting was also attended by Director of Education and Professional Development Saeed Raza Baghdadi, Allama Mahmood Masood Qadri, Allama Engineer Muhammad Sarfraz Qadri, Allama Hassan Mahmood Jamaati, and Allama Ahmed Waheed Qadri, among other leaders.
Mazhar Mahmood Alvi praised the efforts of the Director of Education and Professional Development, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed Raza Baghdadi, and his entire team, stating that with their hard work and dedication, the Centers of Learning project will not only be successful but will also achieve its desired goals soon. He further announced that, Insha'Allah, over 1,000 centers of learning will be established in Sindh within a year.
Director of Education and Professional Development, Hafiz Muhammad Saeed Raza Baghdadi, gave a detailed briefing on the implementation process of the Centers of Learning and explained the responsibilities of district and tehsil presidents, Nazims, and Naib Nazims regarding the centers. He also outlined the targets given to the office bearers and the methods to achieve these targets.
