Dr Tahir ul Qadri Message on Minhaj ul Quran International 44th Foundation Day 2024

In his message on the 44th Foundation Day of Minhaj-ul-Quran, the founder and patron-in-chief, Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, has stated that the journey that began 44 years ago with the mission of returning to the Qur'an and kindling the flame of love for the Prophet (PBUH) in the hearts of the youth, has, by the grace of Allah, been one of steadfastness and perseverance. Today, the light of this mission of returning to the Qur'an shines all over the world.

Shaykh-ul-Islam said that Alhamdulillah, through the platform of Minhaj-ul-Quran, the Ummah has been provided with an extensive scholarly reservoir of over 700 books and thousands of lectures on topics such as Qur'anic sciences, Hadith, the Seerah of the Prophet (PBUH), the virtues of Ahl al-Bayt (the family of the Prophet), the honor of the Companions, beliefs and jurisprudence, knowledge, peace, and reform. Millions of people in Pakistan and around the world are benefiting from this knowledge, and the flame continues to ignite more hearts.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri further said that MQI has always played an active role in promoting unity within the Ummah, interfaith tolerance, and inter-sectarian harmony. It has provided an intellectual response to the negative ideologies that promote extremism, terrorism, hatred, and violence in the name of Islam. He added that, over these 44 years, Minhaj-ul-Quran has established hundreds of schools, colleges, and higher educational institutions in Pakistan, where over 150,000 students from middle-class families are being equipped with the jewel of knowledge.

He concluded by praying, "May Allah Almighty protect Pakistan and its people, and may He further increase our ability to serve the religion, the country, and the nation."
