Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri to address peace conference in Karachi today
PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will address a peace conference in Nishtar Park Karachi tonight at 7.30 pm. He will reach Karachi on the morning of December 4 from Canada. The Karachi chapter of PAT will roll out a red carpet welcome for their leader. He will be taken to Khawaj street from the airport in the form of a caravan. He will also hold a press conference at 5.30 am.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri will visit the Mazar-e-Quaid at 6 pm to pay his respect to the Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and deliver his keynote address at the Nishtar Park ground at 7.30 pm. Important personalities including Dr Farooq Sattar, Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhtar, Syed Qaim Ali, and Syed Ghous Ali Shah will also speak at the event.
PAT leaders Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Noorullah Saddiqui, Mirza Junaid, Safdar Qureshi and other leaders visited the site of the conference and inspected the arrangements. Police and local administration have assured of their fullest cooperation in the conduct of the conference.
Talking to journalists, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that we pray for restoration of peace in Karachi, which is the city of lights and financial capital of Pakistan. He said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is coming with a message of peace, love and solidarity for the people of Karachi. He said that progress and peace of Karachi is intrinsically linked to peace and stability of Pakistan.
