In his address, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri stated that the friends of Allah are those who unite hearts and spread love. People come to them to quench their spiritual thirst and calm the restlessness of their hearts. He emphasized that Islam’s message of peace and security is not just for Muslims but for all of humanity. Those who practice the teachings of Islam not only live in peace themselves but also become a source of peace for others. The friends of Allah and Sufis are among those closest to God, and their teachings and way of life bring peace, love, and tolerance into people's lives.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri further said that Sufis are regarded as the true ambassadors of peace. Through their simplicity, love, and humility, they won hearts and eradicated social evils with compassion and mercy. Their message was one of embracing everyone and being free from prejudice. The teachings of Sufis are for all humanity, and they became pillars of societal peace and security.
Dr. Hassan Qadri also mentioned that a friend of Allah has a generous heart, a kind nature, and a face that always radiates a smile. In their company, knowledge and enlightenment are shared, and everyone benefits from their spiritual blessings. As long as we remain connected to these friends of Allah, we will remain safe. The spiritual centers of Sufis are, in fact, means of connecting with Allah, where visitors receive spiritual bonds with the Divine, and Allah’s mercy descends into their lives, he said.
Highlighting the greatness of Sufis, Chairman Supreme Council said that those who have attained closeness to Allah are alive in their graves like the companions of the cave, and their spiritual blessings continue to flow. We need to sit at the threshold of these friends of Allah with loyalty and remain connected to their teachings to safeguard our spiritual lives. Along with establishing a relationship with the friends of Allah, it is essential that we also follow their teachings to improve our lives.
