Monthly Report of Minhaj-ul-Quran Women/ Sisters League- Paris (July 2006)

On the 16th of July 2006, with all the blessings of Allah (swt), who enabled the Minhaj Women & Sisters League to celebrate such a marvellous monthly programme of Gyarhween Sharif in the period of summer vacations, when majority of Pakistani people are in Pakistan.

Programme started in the afternoon with the recitation of Holy Quran by a little sister Zahida. Program was hosted by Mrs Shamim Zahoor and Mrs Tahira Sahar. Hamd-e- Bari Taalah was presented by Minhaj Sisters League (Sabba Qazi, Zarina Abubakkar & Hina Butt).

After that a series of Nasheeds was read by Mrs Musarat Mansha, Mrs Sitara Malik and Mrs Fahmida Ashfaq.

From the Sisters League, sister Qurat-ul-ain, Ayesha Saqib, Asma and Wafia participated for nasheeds. There were also some group naats, in which Sisters League (Sana, Samina, Wafia, Kiran, Mehnaz, Zahida and Memoona) took part.

Allama Hafiz Iqbal Azam sahib delivered a speech on the importance and benefits of Darood Sharif, in which he also told the audience about Gosha-e-Darood of Minhaj-ul-Quran Lahore.

He also motivated the participants to recite Darood sharif in their daily life and to recite it in the best way, there would be also a mini Gosha-e-Darood in France Secretariat, in which once a month a mehfil of Darood-e-pak will be held.

Allama sahib explained the method and procedure about the Gosha-e-Darood. For generating a high spiritual motivation, he showed the video documentary about Gosha-e-darood. He also addressed to Women & Sisters League to promote the way of preach through the videos and cds of Hazoor Sheikh-ul-Islam. In this way participants have really got a high motivation about Darood sharif and Gosha-e-darood.

Another interesting thing about the programme was that the participants who had poetic sense enjoyed with the verses of Allama Iqbal and other famous poets, on the topic of tasawuf and Ishq-e-Illahi.

Besides this, Mrs Mumtaz Qadir read a poem on Grave in her painful voice. Another sister Shehlagh presented a poem on Namaz and Qaseeda-e-Ghaus-ul-Azam was sang by Mrs Sultana Butt.

As usual salaam was read at the end of the programme by Mrs Sitara Malik. A soulful dua was prayed by our sister Zahida Tabassum.
