Twenty-five couples tie the knot in MWF mass marriage ceremony
A mass marriage ceremony was organized by the Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) in Lahore on March 3, 2024. Twenty-five couples tied the knot on the occasion, and the Minhaj Welfare Foundation provided newlywed couples with all the necessities to start their new lives.
All the brides and grooms were treated to a feast. MQI founding-leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri congratulated the newlyweds and praised the exemplary arrangements made by MWF. He also extended his congratulations to Syed Amjad Ali Shah and all the organizers for putting up a wonderful ceremony.
The special guests at the event included Chairman Supreme Council Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, who expressed his appreciation for the humanitarian services provided by the Minhaj Welfare Foundation, including support for orphans, provision of affordable food, and initiatives in education and healthcare sectors. He also prayed for the success of donors who contributed to providing resources for the mass wedding ceremony.
President Minhaj-ul-Quran International Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri also participated in the ceremony. Among the attendees were Vice President Brigadier (Retd.) Iqbal Ahmed Khan, MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Hamira Bhutto, Anjam Nisar, Diwan Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, Allama Ainul Haq Baghdadi, Dr. Abid Aziz, Noorullah Siddiqui, Ayesha Mubashir, and others who expressed their thoughts on the occasion.
Arrangements were made to cater to a thousand guests. Prominent business personalities including Anjam Nisar, Faheem-u-Rahman Sehgal, Muhammad Abubakar, Abdul Jalil, Babar Akbar Butt, Rana Mansoor, Asim Rafique, Qamar-ul-Saqib, Haji Khalid Mahmood, Naeem Mughal, and Muhammad Hasseeb participated in the event.
The MQI leaders including Rana Fayyaz Ahmed, Jawwad Hamid, Shahid Latif, Shahzad Rasool, Tayyab Zia, Haji Ishaq, Altaf Randhawa, Rashid Chaudhry, Rana Mansoor, Sardar Umar Draz, Sidra Karamat, Ayesha Mubashir, and Umm-e-Habiba Ismail also attended the ceremony.
