Annual Marriage Ceremony at WahCantt Under Minhaj Welfare Foundation

The Wah cantonment chapter of Minhaj Welfare Foundation arranged a ceremony in which twelve girls belonging to the deserving families were married off.

Addressing the ceremony, MQI Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that showing care and affection for the poor daughters is an act of benevolence. He said those who create ease and comfort for others are provided the same. He congratulated Minhaj Welfare Foundation for sharing the happiness of the deserving families and arranging the mass marriage ceremony in line with their age-old tradition.

MWF gave away essential items to the brides and also arranged a marriage feast for all the guests. The parents of the brides saw off their beloved daughters amid tearful prayers to start their marital journey. They also thanked Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and MWF for coming forward to share their burden, as they said they could not have been in a position to bear all the expenses in these times of inflation.

Those present on the occasion included Engineer Sanaullah, Prof Muhammad Waqas of Jamat-i-Islami, Khawaja Muhammad Imtiaz, Ishtiaq Hanif Mughal, Muhammad Javed, Azhar Hameed, Liaqat Ali Mughal, and Sagheer Khan.
