London hosts Muslim protests against terrorism

PanARMENIAN.Net - 12 thousand Muslims gathered in London to participate in Peace for Mankind conference.
Conference participants, among them representatives of other religions, such as Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, chanted anti-racist slogans, criticized terrorism, TRT Russian service reports.
Conservative Islam representative, Pakistani Islamic scholar Muhammad Tahir UL QADRI announced that Islam is the religion of peace and has nothing to do with terrorism. Criticizing suicide bombers, Ul Qadri called to those who wrongly interpret Jihad in Islam, to take the right path and said, “Your actions contradict Islam.”
Pakistani theologian noted that 99% of Muslims stand for peace, however the radical minority, that support terrorism, overshadow Islam.
Ul Qadri was threatened death for criticizing terrorists and suicide bombers. The theologian, announcing that Arab Spring countries are subjected to authority vacuum, was warned that radical groups may take power in the elections, which will become a “tragedy” for Muslims.
