Norwegian Ambassador Robert Kvile visits Minhaj Reconciliation Council Kharian

On 3rd February 2011, His Excellency Robert Kvile, Norwegian ambassador to Pakistan, visited the office of Minhaj Reconciliation Council Kharian. He was accompanied by Director IMDI Norway Mr. Geir Barvik, Assistant Director Skjoldvor Fjvelvaer and Vivien Wrede Holm during his visit. Mr. Ejaz Ahmed, President of the European Council, Mr. Raja Jamil Ajmal, Director Foreign Affairs, Mr. Sohail Ahmed Raza, Director Interfaith Relations, Mr. Qamar Mahmood, General Secretary of Minhaj Reconciliation Council Kharian and Mrs. Shabana Malik, Lady Counselor MRC Kharian received the Norwegian delegation on their arrival at the office of MRC. The respected guests visited different sections of the office and expressed their satisfaction over their working. Writing his comments in the visitor’s book, Mr. Robert Kvile termed the MRC as the most important and significant project of Minhaj ul Quran International. He added that MRC is doing better than his expectations.

Mian Qamar Mahmood presented the annual performance report of the Council. On this occasion, all members of executive council of MRC, Mr. Tariq Hussain, Haji Anwar Marala, Ashfaq Ch. Advocate, Ch Akram and Mrs. Shabana Malik were present in the conference hall. Mr. Raja Abdul Waheed, Prof Mazhar Hussain, Dr Ghulam Mustafa, Hafiz Asghar Shazi and Ch Gulraiz Waraich Advocate joined the guests in conference hall later on while the proceedings were underway.

After the brief introduction of the council and exchange of views on its progress, the worthy guests were served with a lavish lunch in the local restaurant.
