Shaykh-ul-Islam deeply saddened by passing away of Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is deeply saddened today to hear about the passing away of Shaykh Nazim al-Haqqani Naqshbandi who is spiritual guide for many Muslims around the world. He has visited Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri at Minhaj-ul-Quran International Lahore, Pakistan and was a close friend of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. On the invitation of Shaykh Nazim Shaykh-ul-Islam also visited Cyprus to visit Shaykh Nazim in 2011 and met on a number of occasions.
Shaykh Nazim was a great Sufi scholar and had many followers who loved him dearly. Shaykh ul Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri's prays that Allah Almighty through the Wasila of His Beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, grants him a lofty station in paradise. He also prays for the family of Shaykh Nazim and the followers.
Shaykh Dr Hasan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of Supreme Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri President of Federal Council of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Mr Khuram Nawaz Gandapur, Secretary General of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, Dr Raheeq Abbasi, former Secretary General and other officials of Minhaj-ul-Quran International also expressed their deep sadness and prayed for Shaykh Nazim.
