Sardar Abdul Qayyum was a strong voice for rights of Kashmiris’ rights: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri
PAT chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deepest sense of grief and sorrow on the death of former Azad Jammu & Kashmir President Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan. He said that the Mujahid-e-Awal fought the case of Kashmir’s independence from the Indian occupation with utmost dedication and commitment throughout his life. He said that he was a strong voice for rights of the people of Kashmir. He said that late Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan served the Kashmiris to the best of his ability as the President. He said that the people of AJ&K have been deprived of a true leader due to death of Sardar sahib, adding that he was a living history of Kashmiris’ struggle. He prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed souls in peace.
