The holy Quran is a source of guidance & revolution in our lives: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

A group of Quran reciters from Iran electrified the atmosphere in the Itikaf City yesterday when they had the honour of reciting the Holy Quran in their melodious and sweet voices before the thousands of the people. They got generous applaud from the audience. Qari Amin Raheemi, Qari Hassan Mubaraki, Qari Muhammad Raza Rehmani, and Qari Sadiq Bahishti took part in the Quran recitation ceremony. Chairman of MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, and President of the Federal Council Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri were the guests of honour on the occasion.

In his brief talk, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the holy month of Ramazan is the month in which the holy Quran was revealed. He said that we should make it a point to do more Quranic recitation during this month in particular and try to develop an understanding of its meaning. He said that the holy Quran is a source of guidance for the humankind. He said that the Quran is the Word of Allah, adding that we make our utmost efforts to learn the language of the world but do not put in enough efforts at all to learn Arabic language, which is the language of the holy Quran and paradise.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that if we, the Muslims, recite the holy Quran after learning the Arabic language, a revolution will come about in our lives, adding that we will be successful not only in this world but in the world hereafter in this way. He said that those who impart and get religious education are the best people in the eyes of Allah Almighty and the Holy Prophet (SAW). He said that if we recite the holy Quran daily with translation, we will come to know what Allah Almighty wants of us. He said to the residents of the Itikaf City that those are lucky whom Allah Almighty made His guests and enabled them to know about teachings of Islam and the Prophet (SAW) of Islam. He said that annual Itikaf City under MQI provides a rare opportunity to learn about the faith and its teachings. He said that it is a refresher course on peace, love, tolerance, moderation and human rights. He said that like the practice of the previous years, the people from across Pakistan and outside have come to attend the Itikaf City this year as well.
