New provinces inevitable to end poverty, terrorism: PAT

Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur has said that establishment of new provinces
is inevitable to get rid of poverty and terrorism. He said that resolution tabled
by MQM in the National Assembly regarding new provinces deserves to be seriously
deliberated upon. He said that it is Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s consistent stand from the
day one that new provinces should be created on administrative grounds in order
to bring about improvements in the standard of living of people.
The PAT Secretary General expressed these views while talking to a review committee meeting established to revise the constitution of the party. Chief Organizer PAT Maj. (r) Muhammad Saeed, senior lawyer Anwar Akhtar Advocate, Ishtiaq Ch Advocate, Sajid Bhatti, and Noorullah Saddiqi were present on the occasion.
Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that we say this heavy heart that the present constitutional and administrative structure falls short of addressing the socio-economic needs of the people. He said that our national problems are getting more worrisome instead of being resolve in the presence of this administrative structure. He said that the ruling PML-N got a resolution adopted by the Provincial Assembly regarding creation of new provinces. He said that time has come that the PML-N led federal government plays its political and constitutional role for creation of new provinces in the light of resolution of PML-N Punjab.
