South Punjab hit by Swine Flue after infection of terrorism: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri
Talking to the office holders of PAT South Punjab, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, senior PAT leader and Chairman of MQI Supreme Council, has said that after infection of terrorism and extremism, South Punjab has been hit by Swine Flu due to incompetence of the rulers. He said that the people and the youth of South Punjab did not get even a single project of justice, employment and security during last eight years. He said that of those who the rulers placed on positions of authority they got busy with usurping lands.
PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, PAT South Punjab President Fayyaz Warriach, Noorullah Saddiqi, and Ahmad Nawaz Anjum were also present on the occasion.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri termed Metro bus project as political eyewash. He said that under the garb of this project, the doors of national kitty have been opened on fancy projects of worth billions of rupees belonging to Lahore. He said that after the Lodhran by-election and LG polls, the rulers have even stopped mentioning Kisan package. He said that the hard-working farmers of South Punjab are the linchpin in the national economy. He said that the day the farmers stopped cultivating their lands, the national economy as well as fancy projects of the rulers will grind to a permanent halt.
Speaking on the occasion, the delegates of South Punjab informed the meeting that the number one issue facing the people of the region is falling prices of crops and lack of security. He said that it has become next to impossible for a motor cyclist or even a cyclist to step out of home after evening. They said that street crimes and robberies have increased due to unemployment and police stations have become terror centres for the poor.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the PAT is fighting a war for provision of justice and elimination of oppression. He said that the people of South Punjab have given their blood in the struggle for changing the oppressive system. He said that the perpetrators of violence will have to answer for each of their actions on the people of South Punjab.
It is pertinent to mention here that Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri will visit South Punjab from January 16 to 18. He would hold a meeting with the workers in Multan during his stay. On January 18, he will attend Urs celebrations of the renowned Sufi Khawaja Ghulam Farid and address a peace Conference.
