Preparations for International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference in top gear
The 33rd annual International Mawlid-un-Nabi Conference will be held at The Mall Lahore on the intervening night of 11th and 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International. The preparations have been started in this regard. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will deliver his keynote speech to hundreds of thousands of the faithful who would come to the city from across the country. A contact campaign has been started to engage the trader’s community who has shown their willingness and excitement to celebrate the occasion befittingly. The buildings on The Mall will be decorated.
These views were expressed by Jawad Hamid, Secretary of the central Milad Committee while talking to the heads of 50 administrative committees here at the central secretariat. Mian Zahid Javed, Mir Asif Akbar, Saeed Akhtar, Hafiz Ghulam Farid, Ch Afzal Gujjar, Mian Tahir Yoqub, Sajid Asghar, Sheikh Ateeq-ur-Rehman, Haji Farrukh Khan, Umar Awan and others were present on the occasion.
Jawad Hamid asked the MQI leaders and workers to work hard to complete preparations for the conference. He asked them to reach out to every segment of society and include them in the celebrations. He said that hundreds of thousands of people will attend the mega event of the MQI.
