No space for capitalistic, feudalistic & hereditary politics in Quaid’s Pakistan: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

Chairman Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that the Pakistan of the Quaid-e-Azam is in the grip of corruption mafia. He said that the so-called democracy is only protecting the interests of the powerful elite. He said that unless the common man get facilities of justice, education & health, the agenda of creation of Pakistan will remain incomplete. He said that all segments of society need to struggle for their fundamental rights & supremacy of law & Constitution.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the Quaid-e-Azam wanted the rule of law in the country but his dream of supremacy of law and the constitution has not materialized so far. He said that the Father of the Nation wanted the government employees to stay away from politics but rulers used police, ECP & state machinery as their political instruments.

The PAT Chairman said that the Quaid-e-Azam wanted such a Pakistan in which every segment of society gets equal rights. He said that those coming into power in name of Quaid-e-Azam used the state power to enrich themselves than change conditions of the poor. He said that if the Quaid's thought is adopted even today, we can overcome all the crises. He said that we will have to make a vow to break shackles of slavery with national consciousness.

Dr Qadri said that today we will have to resolve to break shackles of slavery with power of national consciousness. The Quaid's Pakistan is at the mercy of politics of the crooked politicians. He said that there is no space for capitalism, feudalism & hereditary politics in the Quaid's Pakistan but added in the same breath that unfortunately, these classes continue to remain dominant today and robbing others of their rights.

Meanwhile a seminar on the subject of ‘Where is the Quaid’s Pakistan?’ was held at the central secretariat. PAT Secretary General Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhry, renowned columnist Qayyum Nizami, GM Malik and Sajid Bhatti spoke on the occasion. Brig. (r ) Muhammad Iqbal, MYL President Mazhar Mahmood Alvi, and Women League President Farah Naz.

Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, while addressing the seminar, said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is waging a struggle to make Pakistan the country of the Quaid’s dreams. He said that the mafia sitting the government is trying to muzzle the voices of the poor on the basis of the state power. He said that the way the combined English and Hindu power failed to rob the people of their passion for the country, in the same way the corrupt mafia will fail in stopping Pakistan from becoming the country of the Quaid’s ideals.

PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhry said that the PTI wants to purge Pakistan of corruption through democratic struggle. He said that the PTI greatly values the struggle of Dr Qadri against oppressive system. He said that the rulers consider the national resources as their own. He said that Parliament never took up the state of education and health for discussion.

Journalist Qayyum Nizami said that the Quaid-e-Azam was a man of truth and character. He said that honesty and credibility are the biggest virtues of any man. He said that sign of a true leader is his selflessness, and unconditional commitment with the people. He said that it unfortunate that the people of Pakistan did not get true leaders after the passing away of the Quaid. He said that real representative of the Quaid-e-Azam’s thought are the people, adding that it is they who are searching for the Quaid-e-Azam’s Pakistan, a country where their self-respect remains intact, where every child irrespective of his background gets equal opportunities of education, where every youth gets equal job opportunities and where the rulers are not above accountability on the basis of being in power. He said that Pakistan’s future is bright and those who have looted it have bleak future.

Senior leader GM Malik sahib that the rulers have imposed dictatorship in the name of democracy in the country. He said that the martyrs of Model Town tragedy await justice. He said that Pakistan was established so that the poor and less privileged sections of society could get justice.

Sajid Bhatti said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s ten-point agenda is in line with the vision of the political teachings of the Quaid-e-Azam. He said that our workers remain fresh and ready to come out on the call of their leader.
