Excellent conduct key to winning pleasure of Allah: Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri

The founder of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and PAT Chairman Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that good deeds and respect are key to reaching Allah Almighty. He said that best use of knowledge is called morality and respect. The master of both the worlds (peace and blessings be upon him) has termed the man the best who has the best morality. The excellence of morality is the fountainhead of all qualities. He noted that the excellent morality demands from us not to degrade others. He observed that the faith is not limited to the worship only, in fact it also includes the nurturing the morality. He added while explaining the underlying spirit of morality that it demands patient bearing of the rudeness of the relatives and friends openheartedly, while noting that the excellence of morality is the best glue to strengthen and consolidate the relationships.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri made these remarks while addressing the thousands of residents of Itikaf City on the topic of ‘Akhlaq-e-Hasan’ (excellence of morality) here in Township, Lahore. The thousands of mutakifeen across the country and abroad are participating in the Itikaf City. Minhaj Girls College, attached with Itikaf City, hosts thousands of female residents who listen the Shaykh-ul-Islam’s address and other reformative training programs via video link.

Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri said that each and every person of Ummah will have to equip himself/herself with best code of conduct. He noted that our ethics, morality, dealing and behaviour fall way short of the demands of our religion and teachings of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He informed the audience that even the sharing of smile and pleasant conversation with others is donation (Sadqa) and worship. “The prayer, fast, Zakat, Hajj and other religious obligations demand the nurturing of morality, adding that even the prayers of arrogant and conceited person are not acceptable in the court of Allah Almighty”, he observed.

Dr Qadri said that Allah Almighty termed the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as carrying the best morality while enumerating the qualities of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said that our beloved Prophet’s life (peace and blessings be upon him) is the best code of conduct for the faithful to follow. He noted that the consolidation of faith and survival of humanity depended upon the excellence of morality, while stating that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has said Momin (believer) must have two qualities: he is neither a miser nor ill- mannered. The ill-mannerism and parsimony cannot reside simultaneously in the heart of a momin. He ordained Muslims to be the best in their behavior with their families, friends and neighbours.
