Success lies in obedience of the Holy Prophet (ﷺ): Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Addressing a large congregation on the occasion of the last Friday of the holy month of Ramazan at the Itikaf City, Chairman of MQI Supreme Council, Dr. Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that the last Friday is an exalted and lofty day of the holy month. He said that those Muslims are fortunate who get the opportunity of Ramazan in their lives and spend the month in such a manner that it becomes the source of their salvation. He said that Allah Almighty sent the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as a Prophet of mercy for the whole mankind. He (peace and blessings be upon him) protected the rights of not only human beings but also animals and strictly forbade the use of anti-human practices such as harshness and violence.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that being a Muslim, it is our responsibility to act upon the Seera of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), adding that doing so is an inevitable requirement of faith. He said that secret of success both in this world and the hereafter lies in obedience of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and showing utmost reverence to him.

The Chairman of Supreme Council said that the holy month of Ramazan teaches us the virtues of patience, sacrifice, and empathy. He said that one of the key takeaways from the blessed month is that we have to be very careful in fulfillment of our rights and duties. He said that the way we perform our religious rituals in the holy month, we need to continue with this routine even after the end of Ramazan. He said that if we do that, our lives can undergo revolution. He said that when we tread the path shown to us by Allah and His beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), it will bring about peace and prosperity in our lives and our society will become the hub of tranquility.

Dr Hassan said that those who are in spiritual retreat for the pleasure of Allah deserve special congratulations. He said that these people took time out of their busy routine and acted upon the Sunna of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He also made a special Dua for peace, prosperity and development of Pakistan on this occasion.

Thousands of the faithful joined the Friday congregation. The female residents of Itikaf City watched the speech of Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri through video link. Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri also offered his Friday prayers in the Itikaf City in Township.
