Manifesto of humanity’s survival revealed on Night of Power: Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri

While addressing the thousands of faithful on the occasion of Laylatul-Qadr (the Night of Power), the founder of Minhaj-ul-Quran International and Chairman of PAT Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that Allah Almighty endowed His complete manifesto for the survival of humanity during Laylatul-Qadr. One of the messages of Laylatul-Qadr is to seek knowledge, love humanity and help downtrodden segments of society. He added that the illiteracy of the followers of the religion, which started with lesson of education was the sheer violation of the divine teachings. He noted that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) loved the human beings and presented the comprehensive concept of rights and duties that ensured the social balance. He observed that the creation of Pakistan and the completion of revelation of the Holy Quran are the two biggest blessings of Laylatul-Qadr. He urged the people to respect these two blessings by reviving the fast dying spirit of Muslim brotherhood.

Thousands of people including residents of Itikaf City listened the thought-provoking and spiritualizing address of Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri. Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri especially prayed for the national prosperity and security of Pakistan and unity of the Muslim Ummah. He added that the only available path to ensure the peace, tranquility and security is to follow the golden footprint of The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The existential threats to the humanity did not originate from wild beasts or natural disasters, man was himself the threat for the survival of humanity.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that despite the fact Islam has rejected categorically the ignorant and cruel practices of killing the innocent men, women and children, barbarism and brutalities were being committed and strategically being employed under the influence of greed and fabricated, twisted and self-styled interpretations. He further added that these practices would only be avoided, if we followed the teachings of the Quran and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), this also required the restructuring of the administrative and political setup of the state of Pakistan as per the directions of the Quran and the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).

Dr Qadri observed that the State of Medina was established on the guiding principles of the survival of humanity and security of its citizens and that model was still practicable. He urged people belonging to all schools of thought and other segments of society to demonstrate love, respect and brotherhood for one another. He informed the audience that the State of Medina was the first welfare state in human history and all of its citizens enjoyed equal rights and security without any discrimination of caste, colour and creed.

Moreover, the senior PPP leader, Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo; General (R) Ghulam Mustafa; and PTI leader, Walid Iqbal also visited the Itikaf City and paid rich tributes to Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri for providing spiritual environment for moral and spiritual training of the youth. They said that Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri was endeavouring to reduce the hatred and promoting love and harmony among the different segments of society.
