Journey of Miraj broke new grounds of knowledge: Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri

In his message on the blessed occasion of ‘Miraj-un-Nabi (peace and blessings be upon him)’, PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Allah Almighty called the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) up to heavens on the night of Miraj. He said that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) got the knowledge of the events taking place till the Day of Judgment. He said that Miraj is such a miracle as is testified by the Holy Quran as well. He said that among the miracles of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the Holy Quran itself is a grand and eternal miracle.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that the epoch of Miraj is one of the signs of the nature. He said that miracles are reflection of the absolute power of Allah Almighty and those who testify them are known by the name of Sayyiduna Siddiq e Akbar (R.A.) and those who reject them are known as Abu Jahal. He said that Allah Almighty shows His subjects the right path through miracles. He said that Allah Almighty endowed the power of miracles on the Prophets to test the belief of the believers and to establish the veracity of the Prophets’ claim to prophethood.

The PAT Chairman said that the person of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is a living miracle in terms of an unflinching belief in the Oneness of Almighty. He said the gift of five prayers a day is a wonderful and most prized gift of the journey of Miraj, stating the Muslim world should hold this gift close to their heart. He said that the journey of Miraj by the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led to breaking of new grounds of knowledge. He said that it is unfortunate that the Muslims for whom the first commandment was ‘to read’ are bogged down in the darkness of ignorance and illiteracy.
