Itikaf a refresher course for iteration of women rights: Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri

Talking to the female participants of Itikaf City, Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri and Dr Fizza Hussain Qadri have said that we spend the whole year in comfort as per our own desires but if we spend the last ten days of Ramadan dedicated to winning the pleasure of Allah through worship and deliberation, we can earn blessings not only in this world but also in the hereafter.

The participants arranged Naat gatherings after the lectures on the Holy Quran in which women who have come to attend Itikaf from different districts participated and recited Naat.

Dr Ghazala Hassan Qadri visited the Zainab Hall, particularly built for Itikaf of women, and inspected the arrangements and facilities there. She said that women becoming part of Itikaf City are lucky that they were able to spare time from their busy routine to join the spiritual gathering of Itikaf with a view to reforming themselves and earning blessings of Allah Almighty. She said that we have all the enjoyments and blessings available in this day and age marked by rat race and if there is anything that we do not have is time. She said that taking time out for the sake of Allah is the biggest blessing.

Addressing at the end of the Naat gathering, Ms. Fizza Hussain Qadri said that Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is delivering his special speeches in Itikaf City and quenching the thirst of knowledge of the inmates of Itikaf. She said that these speeches are benefiting the people in a big way, enabling them to undertake necessary reform in their life. She said that if women get the opportunity of moral and spiritual training, all the hurdles in the way of making Pakistan an Islamic welfare state will be removed.

Ms. Fiza Hussain Qadri said that the mother is the first institution and if she is equipped with necessary training, she cannot only shape the life of her children but also impact the society positively. She said that MQI is a revivalist movement, working for promotion of peace, harmony and interfaith dialogue with a network spread in over 90 countries. She said that the company of the pious and saintly people is a source of spiritual solace.
