Two-day International Conference to begin today

A two-day International Conference on ‘Social Responsibility and World Religions’ will start on the 20th of October with the collaboration of Minhaj University Lahore and Punjab Higher Education Commission. Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Noor ul Haq Qadri will be the chief guest during the session of the 20th October whereas Speaker Punjab Assembly Pervez Elahi will be the guest of honour during the concluding session on the 21st of October 21.

President MQI and Deputy Chairman MUL Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri will present a welcome address. The scholars from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Australia, Nigeria, and Thailand will read out their papers at the Conference. All international scholars reached Lahore last night. A reception will be held in the honour of the visiting scholars which PAT Chairman Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri will also attend. The students of the public and private sector universities have been invited to take part in the two-day conference.

The proceedings of the inaugural session will get underway at 9 am on the 20th of October.
