Islam a great proponent of peace & religious tolerance: Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Chairman Supreme Council MQI Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said that Islam teaches respect of humanity and is a staunch advocate of religious tolerance, interfaith harmony and peace. He said that the importance and sanctity Islam places on human life can be gauged from the fact that unjust killing of one human being has been termed as the killing of whole humanity. He said that it is important to highlight these teachings of Islam to the world in this day and age.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri expressed these views while talking to the workers after Friday prayers. He said that the world can become a peaceful place if we learn to respect the beliefs and views of others. He said that those who kill innocent people have nothing to do with Islam. He said that the civilized people of the world can become a force for peace if they get together in defence of their shared values that cut across all divides.

Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that we should continue to expose those who misinterpret and exploit the teachings of Islam to justify their otherwise reprehensible actions. He said that sanctity of human life irrespective of any caste, creed or color is above anything else.
