Minhaj Welfare Foundation distributes relief package among 100 families
Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) distributed tents, beds, and cash among more than 100 families belonging to three earthquake-affected villages on the directions of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri and under the supervision of Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri. Dozens of workers and volunteers have continued with their relief activities in the affected areas under the leadership of MWF Director Syed Amjad Ali Shah. The leadership of MQI Mirpur chapter namely Zafar Iqbal Tahir, Shahid Mahmood Qadri, Hafiz Ehsan-ul-Haq, Maqasood Ahmad Mughal and others also took part in these activities.
Talking to the earthquake affectees, Syed Amjad Ali Shah said we are carrying out surveys of the partially damaged houses on the directions of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said once the survey is completed, we would be able to extend our help in this endeavor as well. He said Islam teaches us to share the grief and happiness of our brothers and sisters. He said MWF always performed this Islamic and humanistic responsibility, stating that service of humanity and sharing of their hardships is worship.
The earthquake affectees thanked Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri for dispatching the relief goods and remembering them in this hour of grief and prayed for good health and long life of Dr Qadri.
