Governor Punjab & others attend Milad feast
Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar attended the Ziafat-e-Milad held under the banner of Minhaj-ul-Quran International (MQI). In his speech on the occasion, the solution to all the challenges facing the Muslim world lies in forging internal unity and solidarity. He said despite all the allegations and negative campaigns, Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. He said Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is a great scholar who educated the youth living in the US, Europe, and Canada about the real Islamic teachings and brought them closer to Islam. He said he has always been a great admirer of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri due to his services to the religion and the country. He thanked Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri for inviting him to the Milad feast.
Addressing the Milad feast ceremony, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said the Muslim world can rid itself of all the problems by acting upon Seerah of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and building a relationship of love with him (peace and blessings be upon him). He said the Seerah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) of Islam furnishes guidance to us in all aspects of life at the individual and collective levels. He further said the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) founded the relationship of love and brotherhood amongst Muslims. He welcomed all the guests to the Milad feast on behalf of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri and MQI.
Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, and Brig. (r ) Iqbal Ahmad Khan received the guests on their arrival. Prominent personalities belonging to different walks of life including provincial ministers Mian Aslam Iqbal, Sahibzada Saeed-ul-Hassan Shah, Ajmal Cheema, Ijaz Chaudhry, Barrister Amir Hassan, Yawar Ali Zaidi, Nazir Ahmad Chohan, Shabbir Sial, Azhar Zaidi, Nasir Adeeb, Waqas Ahmad, Chaudhry Ghulam Hussain, Ajmal Jami, Shahid Latif, Maqsood Butt, Muhammad Mubasher, Abdul Karim Kalwar, Col (r) Fazel Ahmad, Iftikhar Ali, Tahir Malik, GM Malik, Mian Rehan Maqbool, Mian Zahid, Dawood Mash'hadi, Anwar Akhtar Advocate, Jawad Hamid, Farooq Alvi, Mazhar Mahmood Alvi, Pervez Butt, Mirza Nadeem Baig, Nauman Sheikh, and Haji Muhammad Amin. Director of Public Relations (MQI), central Media Cell and Directorate of Human Resources and Development arranged the Milad feast.
