Provincial Health Minister attends Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference
Addressing Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference organized by Minhaj-ul-Quran Women League Lahore, provincial minister for health Dr Yasmeen Rashid has said working for the promotion of the teachings of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in this day and age is a great service to religion and humanity. She congratulated MWL on the successful conduct of the Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ Conference.
In her speech, the provincial minister said loving the daughters and giving them respect is the practice of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). She said those who mistreat their spouses in their wish for the sons should know they are not on the path of the Prophet of Islam (peace and blessings be upon him). She said the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) established an example of the love of his daughter, Hazrat Fatima (Salamullah Alayha), telling the world that daughters are a source of comfort.
Dr Yasmeen Rashid paid rich tributes to Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri for advocating the women empowerment agenda in the light of teachings of Islam. She said she was happy to know that MWL held Milad gatherings throughout the country as part of its Milad 2019 plan, which were attended by thousands of ladies. She asked the women to study the blessed life of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Central MWL President Ms. Farah Naz, Sidra Karamat, Noreen Alvi, Dr Noshaba, Umme Habiba, Anila Ilya, Amina Batool, Ayesha Mubasher, and Halima Sadiyah welcomed the provincial minister on her arrival at the central secretariat. Girls and women belonging to MWL presented Naat at the beginning of the Conference and collected many accolades. At the conclusion of the event, Brig. (r ) Iqbal Ahmad Khan presented the set of books on Seerat-un-Nabi ﷺ written by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri to Dr Yasmeen Rashid.
