MUL student brings Arabic declamation contest
An All-Pakistan Inter-University declamation contest was arranged as a result of a collaboration between the Arabic Department of the National University of Modern Languages and the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates. The declamation marked the International Day of Arabic language. Students belonging to 22 universities took part in the contest.
Muhammad Attiq-ur-Rahman Wasil, an M. Phil student of the Arabic Department of Minhaj University Lahore, got the first position in the competition. Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Prof. Dr Sajid Mahmood Shahzad, Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, GM Malik, Noorullah Siddiqui, Dr Muhammad Shahid Soroya, Dr Mumtaz-ul-Hassan Barvi, Prof Dr Muhammad Akram Rana, Dr Shafaqat Baghdadi, Prof Dr Mukhtar Azmi, Col. (r) Fazal Mehdi, Dr Mumtaz Ahmad Sadeedi, and other teachers congratulated Attiq-ur-Rahman Wasil on this honour.
