Reception held in honor of those who performed Umra
Directorate of Public Relations held a reception in the honor of the central MQI leaders who performed Umra recently. Upon their arrival, the leaders were received warmly with rose petals. Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri was the chief guest on the occasion, whereas the distinguished guests included Brig. (r ) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Engineer Rafique Najam, Noorullah Siddiqui, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, Raja Zahid Mahmood, Jawad Hamid, Naeem-ud-Din Chaudhry, Ilyas Dogar, Sardar Ghazanfar Hussain Advocate, Hafiz-ur-Rehman Khan, and Iqbal Murtaza.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri spoke on the etiquettes of visiting the grave of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). He said an opportunity to visit his chamber is a matter of great honor. He said staying in the Medina city, and offering prayers in the Prophet's Mosque are blessed acts and source of earning the blessings and mercy of Allah Almighty. He said the lucky are those who get a chance to visit Makkah al-Mukarramah and al-Madinah al-Munawwarah during their lifetime.
Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that the holy city of Medina is the hub of love, whereas Makkah is the centre of worship. He said visiting Two Holy Mosques and praying their should be the prime objective of every believer.
In addition to MWL leaders, GM Malik, Haji Muhammad Ishaq, Shahzad Rasool Qadri, Sohail Ahmad Raza, Mazhar Mahmood Alvi, Rana Muhammad Fayyaz, Saeed Shah and other leaders attended the reception. The ceremony ended on Dua for the peace and progress of the country.
