Elimination of illiteracy & hunger is a real revolution: Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri

Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri addresses Quaid Day ceremony in Aghosh

Addressing a special ceremony held at Aghosh (Orphan Care Home), MQI President and Deputy Chairman BoG of Minhaj University Lahore, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri has said the elimination of hunger and illiteracy is a real revolution. He said MQI is reviving the real teachings of Islam through the promotion of education and spiritualism. He said the institutions set up by Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri are the hub of service to humanity without any discrimination. He said Aghosh does not just provide for the orphan children but is also imparting quality education and training to them.

Vice Chancellor of MUL Dr Sajid Mahmood Shahzad, Birg. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Aghosh Director Col (r) Muhammad Mubasher, Barrister Amir Hassan, Tehfeez-ul-Quran Institute Principal Abbas Naqshbandi, Rashid Hameed Kalyami, and Syed Amjad Ali Shah addressed the ceremony.

Dr Sajid Mahmood Shahzad, Vice Chancellor of Minhaj University, said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is not only the son, scholars and reformer of Pakistan but also of the Muslim world. He said Orphan Care Home is a prestigious institution that is sharing the pain of suffering humanity. He said the solution to Pakistan's political, social, economic, moral and educational problems lies in the vision of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri.

Barrister Amir Hassan, while addressing the ceremony, said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is that personality who did work of his share and the work is related to guiding the Muslim youth and presenting a correct picture of Islam. He said the institutions set up by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri are serving the people without any discrimination of caste, creed, and colour.

Col. (r) Mubasher said the services being provided to the orphan children in Aghosh are not available anywhere in any orphan care home in Pakistan. He said that we compare ourselves with the Army Cadet schools. He said that one child of Aghosh got a commission in Pakistan Army and another is doing a Ph.D. at Al-Azhar University.

Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan said MQI has worked really hard for the provision of education, training, and raising of awareness among the people. He said the message of love and peace propagated by Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has impacted the youth in a positive way.

Rashid Hameed Kalyami, GM Malik, Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Abbas Naqshbandi, Raja Zahid and Dr Khurram Shahzad also addressed the ceremony. The cake celebrating the 69th birthday of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri was cut at the end.
