Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri's birthday ceremonies held throughout the country as well as abroad
The 69th birthday of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri was celebrated around the world including Pakistan. The birthday ceremonies were marked by thanksgiving, prayers and cake cutting. The goats were sacrificed at the central secretariat by the workers and the leaders of MQI. Duas for long life and good health of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri were made.
Central PAT President Qazi Zahid Hussain, Secretary General MQI Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Brig. (r) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Noorullah Siddiqi, GM Malik, Mazhar Alvi, Rafique Najam, Jawad Hamid, Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Abdur Rahman, Naeem-ud-Din Chaudhry Advocate, Hafiz Ghulam Farid, Shahzad Rasool, Haji Ishaq, Sohail Ahmad Raza, Shahid Latif, Allama Rana Muhammad Idrees, Muhammad Farooq Rana, Abdul Sattar Minhajian, Irfan Yousaf, Farah Naz and other leaders congratulated Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri on his birthday and made a Dua for his long life and good health.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri thanked the political and religious leaders, workers and office-holders of MQI and all the well-wishers who sent their birthday greetings. The birthday ceremonies were held in Lahore, Karachi, Faisalabad, Multan, Peshawar, Muzaffarabad, Quetta and other cities of Pakistan. Among the countries where Quaid Day was celebrated were the UK, America, Spain, Denmark, Norway, Holland, Canada, Australia, and South Africa. Rich tributes were paid to the MQI founding leader for his services and contributions to the various disciplines and fields.
In his message, Qazi Zahid Hussain said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri has served humanity without any discrimination of caste, creed, and colour. He said we are proud of the work that he did for Islam and humanity. Khurram Nawaz Gandapur said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri is the identity of Pakistan and Islam in the world. He said that the workers continue to remain ready to make any sacrifice on his signal. PAT Secretary Information Noorullah Siddiqui said that Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri gave people the awareness of their political and constitutional rights. He said that he is held in high esteem throughout the world due to his scholarly contributions and his services for humanity. He said the work and name of Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri scare the corrupt and the looters.
Mehfil-e-Naat and Qawwali gathering were arranged at the central secretariat. The birthday cake was cut at the conclusion fo the ceremony. A large number of workers including Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Brig. (r ) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Dr Sajid Mahmood Shahzad, Dr Shahid Sorya, Barrister Amir Hassan, Noorullah Siddiqui, Jawad Hamid, GM Malik, Syed Musharraf Shah, Latif Madni were present on the occasion.
