Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri's message on the 977th 'Urs' of Hazrat Data Ali Hujwiri (RA)

On the occasion of 977th 'Urs' of Hazrat Data Ali Hujwiri Ganj Bakhsh (RA), MQI leader Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has said that Awlia (friends of Allah) propagated the message of love and peace in the land. They loved humanity without any discrimination of caste, creed and color. He said real mysticism is against violence and in favor of brotherhood.

Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that Hazrat Ali Hujwiri holds a paramount position in the league of the Sufis and his teachings and books that he wrote are a beacon of light for purification of heart and to win nearness of Allah Almighty. He said that Data sahib served humanity day in and day out in light of the teachings of the Holy Prophet (pbuh). He said hundreds of thousands of misguided people came to the right path thanks to the teachings and efforts of Data sahib.

Throwing light on the teachings of the Sufis and mystics, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri said that they would travel for thousands of miles across the lands to spread the message of Almighty and quenched the thirst of the seekers of knowledge and internal light. He said if we act upon the teachings of great Sufis, our life and the world we live in can become a hub of peace and tranquility. He said these are the blessed people of Allah, stating that the Holy Quran says that one should pray to follow the path of those who are blessed by Divine mercy.
