Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri condoles on the death of Allama Mumtaz Ahmad Zia
Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri has expressed his deep sense of grief and sorrow on the death of Allama Mumtaz Ahmad Zia, the father of Tayyab Zia, central Secretary Coordination MQI, and Tahir Zia, Nazim of Minhaj-ul-Quran Ulama Council Narowal.
In a telephonic call with Tayyab Zia, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri expressed his heartfelt condolences and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace and give patience to the bereaved family to bear the loss. He said that the deceased was a pious, and noble person, and his services for MQI will always be remembered.
Meanwhile, Chairman MQI Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Brig (r ) Iqbal Ahmad Khan, Qazi Zahid Hussain, Allama Mir Asif Akbar, Arif Chaudhry, Ain-ul-Haq Baghdadi, Qazi Faiz, Jawad Hamid, Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Shahzad Rasool, Latif Madni, Hafiz Ghulam Farid, Irfan Yousaf, Mazhar Mahmood, Haji Ishaq, Farah Naz, Abdul Hafeez Chaudhry, and Noorullah Siddiqui, also expressed their heartfelt condolences to Tayyab Zia and the bereaved family and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in peace.
Meanwhile, senior Naib Nazim-e-Ala Engineer Muhammad Rafique Najam, Qari Riasat Ali Chaddar, Allama Mir Asif Akbar, Allama Haji Imdadullah Qadri and other leaders of the Ulama Council attended the funeral of the deceased. People from different walks of life also participated in the funeral prayers.
