Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi visits the campus of Minhaj University Lahore
Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi, the head of Idara Urwa-tul-Wusqa, visited the campus of Minhaj University Lahore yesterday and met Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, Deputy Chairman, BoG of the University. Vice-Chancellor MUL Dr Sajid Mahmood Shahzad, Hawza Ilmiyya, and the senior management of Urwa-tul-Wusqa were also present in the meeting.
Syed Jawad Naqvi visited different departments of Minhaj University Lahore. He was told that MUL is the only university in the private sector that gave fee concession to the students during the Covid-19 epidemic. He was also informed that financial assistance to the tune of millions of rupees is provided to the deserving students in addition to the educational scholarship aimed at promoting education. He was briefed that Minhaj University Lahore was given an award in Malaysia in recognition of its outstanding services for the promotion of quality education, the first university in the private sector that has been selected for this honor internationally.
Sharing his remarks after the visit, Syed Jawad Naqvi said that the educational degree programs being run by MUL are in accordance with the contemporary demands. He particularly described the School of Peace and Counter-Terrorism as the distinguishing feature of the University.
Sohail Ahmad Raza, Shahzad Ahmad Khan, Major (r ) Suleman, Rashid Hameed Kalyami, and Ali Waqar Qadri were also present during the visit.
